Feedback Summary Sheet
Sum up your feedback
I needed to talk more about my target
audience. I could have also added detail to my mood board, and more images.
Though the story sounded interesting, and I showed that I have a good idea of
how to make my product. I also included a mood board which showed my
influences and shows the style I want to use.
|
What do you agree with in your feedback and why?
I agree that I needed to add more
detail to my proposal, especially to my audience profile. I also agree that I
should have added more detail to my mind maps also, and could have used more
images on those. I also agree that I showed I had a good idea of how I would
create my graphic novel.
|
What do you not agree with in your feedback and why?
I disagree that my mood board wasn’t
detailed enough as I though I added everything on that I needed to.

Feedback Sheet 3
What are the strengths of the proposal?
The
strengths of the proposal is that she has thought about the timeframe we have
to create the products by only choosing to do a specific part of the story. She
is also using two different ways to create the novel which highlights some of
her skills
|
What are the weaknesses of the proposal?
When asked
about the target audience, there was no explanation as to why that age was
chosen.
|
What are the strengths of the generation of
ideas?
The mind maps
are really good, especially the first one as it contains a mood board as well
which gives of a range of ideas. Making two separate mind maps is a good idea
as it not only gives ideas about graphic novels but shows off detail of the
story she has chosen to use.

Feedback Sheet 2
What are the strengths of the proposal?
You have a
clear idea in terms of story although this could be more developed at this
stage. You also have an idea about how you will go about making the product.
Story seems interesting and different from most others I have seen.
|
What are the weaknesses of the proposal?
Audience
information is very thin. I think you could define this a lot more tightly.
Think about age range, gender and even class. What else might your audience
like? Overall the proposal is a bit brief.
|
What are the strengths of the generation of
ideas?
Two
detailed mind maps and some indication of the style in which you want to make
the product. Each idea you have here is quite developed. Use of images on
first mind map is a nice touch.

Feedback Sheet 1
What are the strengths of the proposal?
The
proposal is good as it makes it clear what it is you plan to do and allows me
to understand the story and how you plan to create the graphic elements of
it. I think the story sounds interesting as does the ways in which you have
decided to create it using the illustration and collages.
|
What are the weaknesses of the proposal?
I think
that a little more detail could’ve been included in the proposal. Things like
the audience profile could’ve been more specific and in detail.
|
What are the strengths of the generation of
ideas?
The
existing products mind map shows images and themes that have given you
inspiration and make it easy to see where you have used influences from them
to shape your own work.
The Kate
Crackernuts mind map is very good and shows how you have planned the story
page by page explaining what you will show on each one from the text to
graphical elements of them.
The last
slide shows the style of images, text and speech bubbles you wish to use. The
hand drawn style looks very good I think and you can see all the elements you
wish to use in the last slide from font to colour schemes.
